Heavy Native Steer, Branded Steer, Heavy Texas Steer and Colorado Branded Steer selections all moved up today as auto and furniture demand continues to push hide prices higher. Despite the rising COVID-19 cases, leather prices remain firm. Korea, Thailand and Taiwan have been more active in the market this week, whereas China has shown a bit more resistance.

For week ending November 12, export sales for 2020 marketing year decreased 13 percent to 352,688 from 406,152 and shipments increased 28 percent to 590,981 from 462,899. Sales for marketing year 2020 totaled 23,614,150—mostly all hides.
