Hide Prices Follow 2nd Half Leather Production Trends

Trading was quiet today with no confirmed trades reported. The vast majority of buyers and sellers in the market are calling prices steady. 

The FRED US industrial production of apparel and leather goods index for October of 2020 is up 3.4 percent from September, but down 19.7 percent from the prior three-year average for October. Production has increased since bottoming out in April during the initial wave of pandemic market disruptions, but the index level has yet to recover to pre-pandemic levels over 60.
