One of the biggest opportunities for hemp producers and processors is the federal grant funding that is available through various USDA initiatives.

 under the USDA umbrella, has $150 million available to fund sustainable agriculture projects in FY 2021.  NIFA oversees federal research for hemp and will award viable projects up to $10 million. This is an extraordinary opportunity available to operators, and is one more aspect of federal action that may impact hemp prices in 2021 and beyond.
