 exploring the feeding value of post-extraction hemp biomass could have a significant impact on grower’s and extractor’s bottom lines.  We’ve discussed ongoing efforts to gain approval for hempseed and derivatives, but hemp biomass is also being evaluated as a forage option for ruminant producers.   

Kansas State University (KSU) is undertaking hemp feeds research, probing the nutritive value of hemp biomass, but as with any hemp feed study, the pharmacokinetics are of equal concern.
