, USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack discussed priorities and initiatives – in broad stroke – at the sprawling agency.  He also provided perspective on Vilsack v 2.0, as he begins his second tenure at USDA after his 8-year stint during the Obama Administration.  Vilsack noted that we were dealing with a potential economic depression back then, but that the pandemic has posed an even greater challenge.  

We routinely discuss the opportunity for hemp farmers that is arising from the Biden Administration’s climate change policy, which is being woven amongst other initiatives like the proposed $3 trillion infrastructure plan. This could be enacted through reconciliation sans Republicans,
