Hemp Markets Well Ahead of Science and Policy

The hemp industry to date has taken more of a let’s just do it, and figure it out later approach.  Hemp regulations and regulatory oversight of cannabinoid products is also very fluid, changing continually, and much remains in a gray area. Operators are making new discoveries and spawning innovation from the field to the lab to the end products containing hempseed or fiber derivatives.  It is an incredibly dynamic landscape, with some significant volatility with hemp prices.
