.  This was a global meeting that was possible because of the shift to virtual events during the pandemic.  The event featured hemp stakeholders from several continents, but with some unique India-centric content. Black Arrow is based in Mumbai. 

One session was led by Srivatsa Mahesh, CTO of Buffalo Extraction Systems based in India.  Mahesh discussed key limitations for operators in India, who are restricted to the extraction of plant leaves, stems and seeds. They do not bother with the stems due to low cannabinoid content.  Ayurveda medicine utilizes cannabis preparations, and there is some effort in India to promote cannabis policy to allow for unhindered medical access for patients.
