Four cars of packer BFT traded at steady pricing today for the Chicago market. Trading outside of the Chicago market was quiet, but sources have indicated that spot availability remains tight. A fire at the River Valley Ingredients facility in Hanceville, AL on Friday afternoon is likely to keep this week’s southeast poultry fat market tight as raw material flows are redirected.
