Senators Moran and Marshall Question Biden’s Resolve on Biofuels

US Senators Jerry Moran (R-Kan) and Roger Marshall (R-Kan) are calling out what they see as a lack of support from the Biden Administration for biofuel use in the departments of energy, environment, and transportation.  The two Senators penned a letter which seven additional republican senators also signed. 

The message was simple and clear.  They stated Biden’s interest in going all-in on electric vehicles (EV’s) completely overlooks the contributions renewable biofuels can and will play during the process.  Moving towards an EV future will not be without complication, costs, mineral constraints for batteries and parts, as well as other unresolved issues will ensure the continued need for biofuels for years to come.
