Organic Crack Corn is on its Way

According to shipping records, The Global Aglaia has left turkey, and it’s on its way to the United States holding organic corn. The vessel’s current position is in the North-East Atlantic Ocean. Expectations are that the bulk vessel will arrive in the United States at Morehead City, North Carolina, on September 9, 2021.

The Jacobsen believes that all of the organic corn is organic cracked corn coming from Giresun Turkey. As a frame of reference, in 2020, approximately 27K metric tons of organic cracked corn came into Morehead City, North Carolina, in August, and nearly 15K metric tons of organic cracked corn went into the exact location in October. No organic cracked corn arrived in the U.S. in 2020 September.
