Nanocellulose technology has existed for decades, but much progress has been made in the last decade.  The technology spans an astonishing range of applications, from tissue products and absorbent products like diapers and feminine hygiene products, to high-tech applications like bone scaffolding and energy storage, owing to its electrically conductive properties.
