Renewable Diesel Imports On Pace for Record High

The US imported 25.07 million gallons of renewable diesel in August, up 8.7 percent from July. August 2021 imports were up 37.2 percent from August 2020 and 37.9 percent from August 2019. Imports for this year, all from Singapore, total 274.09 million gallons through August. For all of 2020, the US imported 279.6 million gallons of renewable diesel from Singapore and 258 million gallons for all of 2019.
