Standards Development in Hempseed Segment

ASTM International, and the D37 Cannabis Subcommittee that we are active members of, has approved a new standard meant to assess hempseed spoilage.  Hempseed’s proclivity to go rancid is a challenge for all hempseed producers and handlers.  Post-harvest handling of hemp and storage of hempseed requires extra care compared to other small grains, pulses, or canola.
