Pet Food Exports Stay Above Year-Ago Levels

Trade for Tuesday was generally quiet in the animal proteins sector, however, underlying pressure continued to be communicated due to the logistical struggles that have overtaken the markets. Less availablity has been reported in the feathermeal market, leading to some uptick on pricing for the AL/GA and Mid-South markets. A new high of $450/ST was reported today for feathermeal in those two respective markets. Most other trade landed within th presviously set ranges.
