Hempseed acres contracted overall in 2021, with modest gains from Minnesota, and newcomer Kansas posting hempseed acreage.  South Dakota came out of the gates with almost twice as many acres as North Dakota in 2021, per FSA.   We believe FSA reported acreage for hempseed is more accurate than for cannabinoids and fiber.
