was released today, offering valuable insight into US hemp production and market activity in 2021. Farmgate receipts exceeded three quarters of a billion dollars in 2021, with over $623 million attributed to floral hemp. 

Other noteworthy metrics are the some of the market size estimates in key states like Oregon and Colorado.  Total market value in these states is estimated at nearly $250 million and $6.5 million, respectively.  According to this report, Oregon’s production value eclipses Colorado’s and is nearly 4 times the value of California’s.  The chart below illustrates the gap between the two major hemp markets.
