Organic Soybean Imports From Russia and Ukraine Arrive in January

 

Organic soybean imports from Ukraine and Russia continued to make their way into the United States in January. According to the official import quantities released this week by the U.S. Customs Department, approximately 5.3K metric tons of organic soybeans were imported from Russia. About 4.9K metric tons of organic soybeans were imported from Ukraine. Approximately 1.1 million acres of organic field crops are present in Ukraine. The balance of the organic soybeans imported into the United States in January came from Canada 1.8K, Mexico, India, and Argentina.
