The Jacobsen will be implementing summer Friday publication hours tomorrow (Friday, May 26) through Labor Day. The deadline for trade reporting will be at 12 p.m. CST with publication of the Hide & Leather Price Guide/Commentary soon after.

No Bulletin/Price Guide Published on Monday, May 29

There will be no publication of the hide bulletin/price guide on Monday, May 29 as the offices of The Jacobsen will be closed in observance of the U.S. National Memorial Day holiday.

Hide buying activity was limited today with several sellers reporting less bidding activity than the week prior and several buyers are not eager to buy. There is resistance to pay steady to current market levels but some selections were sold near steady levels.
