Slower Cattle Slaughter Limits US Hide Offers

Hide offers will go out tonight. Sellers indicated there will be limited hides available as slaughter in the US continues to decrease and sellers are in well sold positions.
Sales were steady at the start of the week, except for a $1 decrease for packer, regular weight Colorado branded steers.
There were a few shoe tanners active today looking to buy, but at lower prices. Sellers continue to negotiate with buyers.
