United Auto Workers Push for New Contracts

Market Update 

Hide demand was minimal today after sellers released their offer lists last night. Most sellers reported there was little appetite to buy this week except for lower-quality material.
Sellers in Australia reported similar interest for cheap cow material. Bidding activity in the region was very active early this week.
The President of United Auto Workers (UAW) stated that members will decide next week if strikes will begin at General Motors, Ford Motors and Stellantis if a new contract agreement for employees isn’t negotiated.
