DEA Takes Controversial Position on Cannabinoids
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency has had an ancillary role in the newly legal hemp industry. Hemp and marijuana are technically separated by a tiny margin. Nothing has been this simple in the rolling out of a nationwide hemp industry, but the chaos existed in agencies also, like the DEA and USDA, who uniquely collided on an issue that was unfamiliar territory for both.
