Good quality Buenos Aires wet salted heavy steer prices remain unchanged at about US$0.54 per kg.

In Argentina, the decrease in slaughter continues with prices up 5-10 Argentine pesos to a steady dollar. This represents an approximate rise of 1 to 2 cents.
Therefore, we can say that today, good quality Buenos Aires wet salted heavy steer prices are quoting upwards at about US$0.54 per kg.
Demand remains low.
The fair in Shanghai showed firm demand for shoes and upholstery business for Easterners, but minimal for Westerners.
Automotive leather demand is slow, with little volume.
