Chicago Packer BFT Falls, YG, CWG Continue to Tumble

Three cars of packer BFT traded down to 67 cts/lb Chicago today and choice white grease traded down to 65 cts/lb Chicago. Mo. River trading was done in a range of 62-64 cts/lb FOB today and yellow grease prices slipped on pressure from the low ffa markets.
Distiller’s corn oil (DCO) traded in a wide range today, with action seen between 64.5 – 67 cts/lb FOB. Trading into the Gulf was last indicated at 71 delivered, but demand out of the NE/KS market has been strong this week.
The EIA released its ethanol production estimates on Wednesday in the Weekly Petroleum Status Report for the week ending September 22nd at 1.009 million barrels per day (b/d). The estimate is up 29,000 b/d from the week prior, but is approximately 38,000 b/d below the July-August weekly average.
The Jacobsen estimates DCO production for the week ending September 29th at 9.579 million pounds per day, up 3 percent from the week prior and up 18 percent from the same week last year.
