Porcine BM Higher in IA/MO/NE and IN

For Wednesday, values on porcine bloodmeal were reported higher on IA/MO/NE, with a new range of $950-1025/st and Indiana, as high as $1050/st. Ruminant bloodmeal was indicated as high as $1000/st on the Tx. Panhandle, while both the Mo. River and Tx. Panhandle were above $900/st on the low end. Some participants have communicated that bloodmeal has been in more demand with milk prices stronger leading to possible reformulations.

Meat and bonemeal, as well as feathermeal, were highly unsettled for the week as lower soybean meal prices weigh on market sentiment. Feathermeal was flat on every region but has continued to see wide spreads. Most values on meat and bonemeal were reported within the previously set ranges, though distressed loads were as low as $405/st Mo. River. California and Pacific Northwest ruminant meat and bonemeal were reported at $370-380 and $370-390/st, respectively.
