The hemp industry is still wading through a collective backlog of litigation that swiftly multiplied after the collapse of CBD markets in 2019.  Bankruptcies, Force Majeure, and even suicides marked that dark period in the hemp sector’s development.  The “green rush” that swept the country after hemp legalization in 2018 was near hysteria, and ancillary markets related to CBD hemp cultivation were a breeding ground for fraud.
