Quiet US Hide Market to End the Week

The US hide market had little trading activity today. The majority of business was wrapped up over the course of the week and as a result sellers expect little carryover business to continue into the weekend.
Steer, heifer and cowhide prices were on a downward trend this week as shoe and automotive tanners were buying small volumes due to limited leather orders.
