Raw Hemp Imports from EU Increase Marginally

Imports of raw hemp from the EU have increased marginally in 2023.  This year’s data does not reflect imports beyond August, so year over year growth from the EU could jump considerably once all trade data is complete in early 2024.  The category is defined as:

true hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) that is raw or processed but not spun. It also includes tow and waste of true hemp, including yarn waste and garnetted stock.
