Paraguay Beef Processing Plants Exploring Dried Lime Hide Market

Argentina

November 9

The market is calm.
Slaughter is gradually increasing to normal levels as the country waits for the results of the upcoming presidential elections.
As a result, good quality Buenos Aires wet salted heavy steer prices continue quoting at about US$0.64 per kg.
Semi-finished and finished markets continue stable, but at low prices.
Problems with importing inputs continue.

November 2

September Argentine beef exports totaled 69,000 tons TEC, which is about 25,000 ton below volumes in July and August.
Slaughter continues to decline. Producers prefer to hold onto their live animals during the complicated economic environment.
Prices remain relatively unchanged with the exception of a few deals closing a few cents higher.
