Cattle Slaughter Trails 2022 Levels by Wide Margin

Cattle Slaughter Trails 2022 Levels by Wide Margin

The market was very quiet today with no changes reported. Choice white grease did trade in a steady range out of the Mo. River market. Soybean oil was up marginally on the January contract today, settling at 50.7 cts/lb. December settled at 51.54 cts/lb and March at 50.66 cts/lb. Heating oil was up by 9.62 cts/gal on the December contract. The move higher in hearing oil and soybean oil was partially offset by lower RIN values. However, buyers and sellers are likely more focused on logistics and availability with the Thanksgiving holiday next week.
