Minnesota Regulators Formulate Enforcement Plan For Hot Hemp Flower

Fastmarkets reported on the meeting scheduled last week with Minnesota law enforcement, regulators and state agencies to discuss the policy gaps that led to the sale of “hot” hemp flower with high levels of THC.  By other interpretations, it is virtually identical to the high-potency cannabis sold in dispensaries. Total THC content of premium hemp flower currently on the market ranges from 20-25 percent. The problems facing Minnesota regulators are a result of inadvertent gaps in oversight created by recently enacted state legislation.
