 We’ve commented routinely about the growing divide between key hemp industry segments.  As pressure increases on hemp-derived cannabinoid operators, the desire by industrial hemp operators to separate themselves from that segment only increases.

Long-time stakeholders of the broader hemp industry have increasingly turned to the public sphere to discuss policy issues related to intoxicating cannabinoids and hemp flower.  For proponents of industrial segments like hemp fiber, the trend for cannabinoids to dominate the public narrative around hemp is viewed as a major obstacle to growing the segment.
