Panda Biotech Seeks Additional Funding

As Panda Biotech’s Hemp Gin commissioning in Wichita Falls, Texas progresses, the company has sought more funding for the development of the former Delphi facility.  The company has applied for a PACE loan, through the Property Assessed Clean Energy program.  These loans are intended to increase energy efficiency by retrofitting older facilities.

PACE loans are low interest loans made by participating lenders at no cost to taxpayers.  The loans carry through to subsequent buyers, staying tethered to the building.  The former Delphi plant gives Panda 500,000 ft2 for a throughput listed at 10 metric tons/hour.
