Slaughter runs at normal levels.
Good quality Buenos Aires wet salted heavy steers are quoting unchanged from the prior week at about US$0.55 per kg.
Chennai leather fair brought many prospects regarding demand for semi-finished leather for footwear and leather goods but with very competitive (low) prices.
Currently, Europe it is too calm and is looking forward at Lineapelle Fair in Italy which will take place in a few days.

Slaughter volumes remain stable to the weeks prior.
Good quality Buenos Aires wet salted heavy steers are quoting downwards at about US$0.55 per kg.
Demand is weak while Chinese tanners remain inactive due to Chinese Lunar New Year (CLNY).
