Slaughter remains unchanged from last week.
Good quality Buenos Aires wet salted heavy steers are quoted upwards from the prior week at about US$0.60 per kg.
Demand remains consistent with last week.
The Lineapelle Fair was held in Milan during the first three days of last week. According to reports, the show was not positive for the near-term leather industry. This is typically considered an indicator of coming material demand related to the fashion industry. There was lacking shoe leather demand from buyers at the show.
There was good demand for automotive and furniture upholstery hides, as well as high-end bags and luxury leather goods.

Slaughter returned to normal this week.
