Wheat Export Sales Tumble to Marketing-Year Low

CME grain prices shifted higher across the board on Thursday. May soymeal increased by $1.80/st and closed at $344.30/st. May soybeans increased by $0.025 and settled at $12.12/bu. Furthermore, May corn futures rose $0.0175 to $4.40/bu, and May wheat increased by $0.0175 to $5.46/bu. The production potential in South America and ongoing geopolitical conflicts in the Black Sea region impacted grain prices today. Corn and soybean prices captured minor gains following some technical buying. Additionally, wheat prices followed the upward movement of corn and soybeans, showing modest gains.
