Firm palm oil prices pushed used cooking oil (UCO) levels up, with selling ideas for Chinese and Malaysian UCO gaining $20-30 per tonne on average from last week to $870-890 per tonne for flexis, making Asian UCO unattractive for European buyers, given freight rates remaining firm at above $100-120 per tonne.

Trading into Europe was reported at around $960 per tonne for optional origin UCO delivered in ISO tanks to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Ghent (ARAG), while European UCO was heard traded at €985 per tonne DDP ARAG, with further offers seen at up to €1,050-1,060 per tonne depending on quality and volumes availability.
