Hide interest was minimal on April 16, as was the day prior, but Colorado Branded Steers (CBS) hides traded sideways to last reported levels. Most buyers are not showing urgency to buy new material but are active in the market when there are leather orders present. Several sellers and buyers reported there was a recent lack of leather orders, which resulted in a pullback of demand from tanners.

Offer lists will be released tonight which may be longer than the week prior, according to a few US sellers.
