Much of the hemp-derived THC market has been fuelled by
small business owners. Nimble, fast
moving, and risk tolerant dispensaries have popped up in strip malls all over
the U.S. Larger companies have taken
notice, though some have no risk appetite for these markets.
Small companies have also leveraged e-commerce to move products
efficiently to a growing pool of national customers. Some of these companies are generating
millions of dollars monthly on high-margin, unregulated products.
