Please Note: no Hide Bulletin July 4 in Observance of Independence Day
There will be no publication of the hide bulletin/price guide on Thursday, July 4 as the offices of Fastmarkets will be closed in observance of the U.S. National Independence Day holiday. We wish all of you happy and safe Independence Day celebrations!

US packers sold small volumes of steer hides on Wednesday July 3 ahead of the US holiday on Thursday July 4, and several packers were holding onto large inventories of material, according to market participants.

The hide selections traded were of regular weight heavy native steers (HNS), heavy native dairy steers (HNDS), butt branded steers (BBS) and Colorado branded steers (CBS).
