Chicago Mercantile Exchange grain prices were mixed on Thursday August 1, with the September CME soybean futures contract dropping by 5.50 cents per bushel to settle at $10.09 per bu.
The December soymeal futures contract increased by $0.50 per short ton to $316.20 per short ton, while September corn decreased by 0.75 cents per bu to $3.82 per bu.
Meanwhile, September wheat rose by 4.75 cents per bu to close at $5.32 per bu.
Grain futures were mixed, with market participants continuing to evaluate the latest weather forecasts, export trends and global production potential.
Wheat recorded the most gains on Thursday due to ongoing weather challenges in Europe, while soybeans faced moderate losses following another round of technical selling.
