Prices in international animal proteins markets were flat in the week to Thursday September 19, and several market participants were attending the Australian Rendering Symposium in Brisbane this week.

Meat and Livestock Australia reported cattle slaughter at 140,402 head in the week to Friday September 13, up by 3,866 head week on week and by 13,817 head year on year.
