won the 2024 RISE Innovation Award last week at the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry (INDA) conference in Raleigh, NC. Hempitecture was nominated this summer for its PlantPanel™, a rigid insulation material utilized in exterior above-ground applications.

The event was co-hosted by INDA and NC State University and maintains a focus on cutting-edge sustainability, bio-based materials, circular economies, and carbon-negative raw materials.

Hempitecture introduced HempWool® – a sustainable, high-performing fiber insulation for residential and commercial construction – back in 2020.
