The price for bleachable fancy tallow (BFT) max 3.5% free fatty acids (FFA), CIF São Paulo, inclusive of 12% tax, was unchanged at 6.20-6.30 Reais ($1-1.02) per kg in the week.

Fastmarkets assessed the price for BFT, max 5% FFA, CIF São Paulo, inclusive of 12% tax, at 6.10-6.20 Reais per kg in the week to Thursday.

At the same time, Brazilian tallow prices for exports, max 15% FFA, FOB Santos were stable at $1,010-1,025 per tonne.

Chinese investigation
