HNS Prices in 2019
Historically March and April have been the peak season for lightweight HNS prices. A build up in demand from the automotive sector has been a big driver of the price increases through the first quarter in past years. From May forward, HNS prices have historically seen a steady decline as demand from the automotive sector waves. The price increase has been noticeably absent in the market this year due to the absence of not only automotive demand, but consumer demand in general.
