Slaughter continues strong, mainly for dairy cows to export to china, and light animals for domestic consumption.

Buenos Aires wet salted heavy steers remain quoting at about US$0.07 per kg. There is an oversupply of wet salted hides.

Tanneries are soaking slightly because there is already an oversupply of hides for gelatin.
