2020 Production Pt 2

2020 Production Pt 2

The high THC cannabis markets in the US are dominated by California.  This is no surprise, given the climate and soils that make California the nation’s food producing epicenter.  Sure, large volumes of carbohydrates and protein originate in the breadbasket of the US, much of which runs through the livestock and fuels industries.  For the rest of the food we eat, the greens, fruits, nuts, and other vegetables, California produces much of it, along with an estimated 16+ tons of high-THC cannabis. Northern California and Southern Oregon are part of the Emerald Triangle, an area with significant cannabis production, both legal and illicit.  The areas long, dry growing season, along with cool nights, make it optimal for producing cannabis plants with dense, trichome-laden flowers.
