Impact of Wildfires Unknown

Western wildfires continue to threaten parts of California and Oregon, but also other areas of the Intermountain West, including Colorado.  The situation is fluid enough in Oregon and California that a thorough assessment isn’t possible yet.  Over one million acres have burned in Oregon alone, where over half a million people at least were forced to pick up and leave their homes and farms and flee for safety.   The fires could impact long-term hemp prices, particularly smokable flower pricing, but it isn’t yet clear what the effects will be on the crops that survive.
