as part of a campaign rally in rural Wisconsin yesterday.  The deadline for CFAP 1 passed at the end of last week and did not include hemp in the USDA’s list of eligible crops.  This was based on hemp prices, or rather a lack of historical hemp prices showing a decline of 5% or greater in overall hemp pricing.  The agency has posted a December 11 deadline for CFAP 2, after beginning the application period this coming Monday.
