Biodiesel margins rise, but window of opportunity limited
Biodiesel margins continued to rise during the week to Friday November 22. The bean oil/heating oil (BOHO) spread boosted margins by falling to its lowest level since August 27.

Market reports were higher today continuing the trend of upward momentum in the market. The native bull selection traded as high as $15 per piece and jumbo Heavy Texas Steer selections traded at $28. Native bulls are up $6.50 from a month ago and jumbo Heavy Texas Steer are up $8 from a month ago. Nearby hide supplies are tight with reports of sellers well sold through December. The tight nearby supplies add risk for continued, higher prices.
