The shift of power in the US Senate early this year prompted widespread conjecture that federal cannabis legalization may be on the horizon.  Equity markets responded favorably in January but have since slouched, with a less bullish near-term outlook.  Some industry observers see banking reform in 2021 as an attainable policy goal that will have significant impacts on pan-cannabis markets – MJ and hemp.
